We provide support to police officers, staff and volunteers injured at work, or with a serious illness. The charity focuses on police based in Cornwall & the Isles of Scilly.
Every year, police officers, staff and volunteers in Cornwall are seriously injured whilst keeping us safe, either by assault or accidental injury whilst on duty. We also support those with a life changing illness. From our formation in 2017, by October 2019 we had assisted 120 officers, members of staff or police volunteers.
Some have received small gifts, others luxury hampers of Cornish produce. We believe in the most serious cases in the power of time with friends and family, to help people recover; in these cases we provide respite breaks or entry to Cornish tourist attractions.
